Biosketch

Asst. Prof. Decena worked as a University Research Associate I for five years and finished a Master’s Degree in Animal Science for two years before being accepted for the teaching position. Her research focuses on monogastric nutrition specifically poultry nutrition. She has won several awards such as the Best Young Researcher in the Asian-Australasian Animal Production Congress in 2016 and in 2018. She was also one of the five winners of the 2016 Evonik Nutrition and Care, Animal Nutrition University Program. She has adept skills in conducting animal nutrition experiments and statistical analyses. As a faculty member, she is a dedicated instructor and lecturer in animal nutrition and production.
