Biosketch

With over two decades of service to the University, Dr. Estrella held both research and administrative positions being the chairperson of the BS Agricultural Biotechnology program, the Editor-in-Chief of the Philippine Journal of Veterinary and Animal Science, and currently the head of the Animal Breeding Division at the Institute of Animal Science. Her fields of specialization include swine production, genetics, and reproduction. She is most proud of her latest project on the Development of Philippine Native Pig Breed Information System.
