Biosketch

Dr. Josephine E. Garcia is a University Extension Specialist III at the Institute of Animal Science, College of Agriculture and Food Science, UPLB. Her research interests include Environmental Science, Application of GIS and Remote Sensing in Land Use/Land Cover Change and Landscape/Forest Fragmentation Analysis, Climate Change, Coastal Resource (Mangrove) and Watershed Management. Before joining the University in 2016, she worked for over 20 years as a technical staff, planning, and project evaluation officer at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Climate Change Commission (CCC).
