Biosketch

Victoria Eden S. Walitang is a University Researcher II and a registered chemist with demonstrated experience on analytical and environmental chemistry. She is currently the Lab-in-Charge of the Advance Animal Science Research and Training Laboratory at the Institute of Animal Science. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Science with Biochemistry as her minor at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She worked on the angiogenic activity and antioxidant properties of dietary phenolics from “Malunggay” (Moringa oleifera, L.) leaves for her undergraduate thesis. For her Master’s thesis, her study focused on the assessment of the removal of cadmium, chromium and lead by water lettuce (Pistia stratiotes L.) from metal – doped aqueous media.
